Do you grind your teeth?

Protect your teeth from clenching and grinding at night, it's worth it for the preservation of your teeth.

BRUXISM

Teeth grinding, also known as bruxism, can be a major problem as it not only damages the teeth (crack in the tooth) but also leads to various health problems such as neck tension, shoulder pain, headaches and in rare cases even tinnitus. Teeth grinding is often an expression of suppressed anger or stress, with the jaw acting as an outlet during sleep.

REMEDY

To protect the teeth from damage caused by teeth grinding, we recommend a dental splint. These customised bite splints, or Michigan splints, are made of plastic and are worn at night. As they form a barrier between the teeth, they prevent direct contact and reduce the risk of cracks and other damage.

WHAT ELSE CAN HELP

Stress reduction techniques are another effective remedy for teeth grinding. Stress management through relaxation exercises, meditation or therapy can alleviate the causes of bruxism. In addition, integrating stress-reducing activities into your daily routine can help prevent teeth grinding.
